An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Duty Manager to support the Sports Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operation of Colne Valley High School’s Sports Centre.
The Assistant Duty Manager will ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all users, manage facility operations, and assist in the smooth delivery of activities and bookings. A willingness to work independently and flexibly within the team is essential, as are strong interpersonal and communication, organisational, time management, and customer service skills.
Having previously worked in a customer-facing role, the successful candidate will preferably have experience in a leisure or sports environment. The successful candidate will be reliable and flexible to cover shifts across weekdays and weekends. Basic IT skills (e.g., using booking systems, emails), and a proactive and responsible attitude to health and safety is essential in this role, as is a willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., First Aid, Safeguarding).
