An established industry player in sports and physical activity seeks a dedicated Facility Supervisor to manage outdoor sports facilities. The University of Leeds has recently made a significant investment into its outdoor sporting facilities with a £9.3 million investment at our Sports Park Bodington site. This included the construction of the new Football Community Pavilion and three SiS 3G Rubber Crumb FIFA Quality Pitches. Other recent projects on the site have included a £5.2 million investment into the new Brownlee Centre and a 1.6km closed road circuit.
Responsible to the Facility Manager, you will contribute to the management of the day to day operation of the outdoor sport facilities and assist with the supervision of operational staff on shift. You will ensure that excellent customer service is provided to all customers and visitors and that the facilities remain safe, clean, and well maintained at all time.
You will have proven experience working in a sport of leisure facility in a supervisory capacity, with experience of monitoring and maintaining high standards in facility presentation and customer service. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will hold a relevant first aid qualification and food hygiene certificate.
This full-time role will work on a 5 over 7 shift basis and will include the requirement for you to work early mornings (6am start), evenings (11pm finish), weekends, University closure days and Bank holidays.
