A leading consultancy in England seeks an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their vibrant team in Stockport. My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their growing team of experts near the beautiful, up-and-coming town of Stockport, in Greater Manchester.
Essential Criteria:
– A Degree in Civil Engineering
– Demonstrable experience of having worked with Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in a design capacity
– Experience of working with drainage design and sewerage connections
– Excellent working knowledge of the appropriate applications of Section Agreements S104 and S106
– Working knowledge of MicroDrainage WinDES, TUFLOW, and other software packages
It would also benefit applicants for the role of Assistant Drainage Engineer to possess the following skills:
– Extensive use of other relevant software packages, such as Civils 3D, Site 3D, and others
– Experience of liaising with a range of clients
– Excellent time management and communication skills
In the diverse role of Assistant Drainage Engineer, you will join an team of design engineering experts, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:
– Preparing calculations and drawings for drainage systems, aligned to the relevant Section Agreements (S104, S106, etc.)
– Producing drainage designs to align with industry standards
– Liaising with a range of clients and other stakeholders, across the public and private sectors
– Contributing to a range of infrastructure design projects
