Successful candidates will benefit from a demonstrable strong track record in delivering performance improvement initiatives, experience in navigating senior stakeholders and strong analytical skills, including Excel/PowerPoint capability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Financial Services clients in assessing the value creation potential within their business, and developing action plans to deliver against performance improvement initiatives.
  • Working hands-on with management teams to get buy-in across the business and implement agreed initiatives within an accelerated timeframe to maximise value.
  • Supporting corporate, private equity and financial investors across the full M&A lifecycle.
  • Working with FS-focused colleagues from Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory (SRTA), Technology & Transformation, and the broader Deloitte network, to provide our clients with a coherent overview of the business operations, performance gaps and the potential for rapid improvement.
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

  • FS sector focus, ideally across a range of FS sub-sectors.
  • Proven experience in the implementation of either cost reduction, cash and working capital or liquidity management initiatives.
  • Credentials in pre-deal operational due diligence and/or pre/post-deal carve out and integration.
  • Track record in business development, including generation of new leads and building out existing projects.
  • Experience with private equity portfolio companies is desirable.
  • Senior stakeholder and project management capability.
  • Experience in managing and developing talent.
  • Very strong analytical skills and experience in Excel and/or other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility for international travel.
