Up to £32,000.00 per annum dependent on experience

As Assistant Director of Studies (ADOS) your role is pivotal in ensuring the academic success of our educational programmes and making a significant contribution to the wider team’s goal of providing an outstanding student experience. Your time will be additionally spent teaching EAP as part of our NCUK International Foundation Year programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with group leaders, students and teachers.
  • Assist with exam enrolments as required.
  • Cover of the DOS, Senior Teacher and Student Services in absence.
  • Support with UK accreditation compliance including British Council.
  • Familiar with the courses and syllabus offered by the school, including designing.
  • Teach up to 27 hours per week, including juniors, ESP and NCUK courses.
  • Maintain compliance, including registers, recording attendance, weekly social programme, Health & Safety and safeguarding.

Skills & Experience:
  • First Degree + DELTA, Masters in EFL or TESOL or equivalent is essential.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, using Western-style syllabus, conventions and methodologies.
  • Direct experience in further and higher education in an international context.
  • Experience in academic assessment and standard and quality assurance procedures.
  • ICT competent with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to speak a second language is desirable.
