Job summary

Tameside Council is seeking an Assistant Director of People & Workforce Development to lead the development and delivery of a refreshed People Plan, strengthen organisational capability and create an integrated People & Workforce function.

The role sits on the Extended Leadership Team and partners with senior leaders, Elected Members and Greater Manchester colleagues to shape workforce strategy and drive performance across the council and its communities.
