At Four Seasons, we believe our people are the heart of our success. We are seeking a passionate and strategic Assistant Director of People and Culture to help shape an exceptional employee experience and support our culture of excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with the Director of People and Culture to lead the day-to-day Human Resources operations and strategise people initiatives
  • Manage employee relations by providing coaching, guidance and resolution strategies to leaders and employees, including any disciplinary processes, grievances and appeals.
  • Champion retention initiatives and employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead a committee in charge of delivering a variety of diverse and inclusive employee programming tailored to the needs of our people.
  • Facilitate career development programs and succession planning.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new starters.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Directly lead, inspire and coach a team of 3 including a P&C Manager, P&C Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Manager

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in Human Resources leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with HRIS Workday and Fourth (Payroll) is preferred as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, etc.), Canva, DocuSign, etc.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for people, culture, and creating memorable employee experiences.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred.
