Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Certified Teacher and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will assist in daily classroom operations, supervise staff, and contribute to sustainable education initiatives.

This role emphasizes family communication, adherence to safety and licensing standards, and professional development through ongoing training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering daily lesson plans and activities.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Support sustainable education practices in daily routines.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, and outdoor play.
• Act as mandated reporter per state law.
• Support individual developmental needs of children.
• Greet families and support daily communication.
• Attend required training and collaborate on improvement.
• Provide leadership in absence of the School Director.
