About Our Client

Job Responsibilities

• Develop schemes from early concept design to sale or transfer, managing multiple schemes at various stages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surveying, planning, design, and construction
• Handle strategic property development schemes, site planning, viability assessments, development programming, and planning processes
• Work with Senior Development Manager and Directors to implement project strategy
• Coordinate and prepare commercial assessments with the commercial and engineering teams
• Engage with stakeholders such as local authorities, landowners, and community members
• Identify and develop new property schemes through acquisition and planning
• Negotiate planning conditions and section 106 agreements
• Coordinate planning application processes
• Manage consultant appointments and prepare key reports for management and boards

The Successful Candidate

• Minimum 3 years of experience in property development
• Knowledge of planning systems and policies
• Working towards MRICS or MRTPI qualification preferred
• Strong project management skills in property sector
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and motivate professionals
• Excellent numeracy, literacy, and report writing skills
• Understanding of land, planning, and health & safety legal requirements
• Strategic thinking for complex project delivery with commercial and planning considerations
• Financial acumen in valuation, appraisals, and budgeting
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel
