Job description

We are working with a leading Block Management company that is looking to hire an Assistant Development Manager to join a luxury modern residential scheme in West London.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-level management and administrative support to the estate, prioritizing work to meet deadlines and targets.
  2. Ensure compliance across the estate and report any defects to the developer within the defect period.
  3. Take water meter readings upon request from residents.
  4. Record estate water and electricity meter readings monthly.
  5. Manage fingerprint clock-in system and process invoices according to recorded attendance.
  6. Handle telephone inquiries and follow-up as necessary.
  7. Manage email correspondence and keep the team updated on current issues.
  8. Greet clients, residents, and contractors as required.
  9. Handle all written correspondence on behalf of the team.
  10. Maintain electronic filing systems related to administration.
  11. Maintain relationships with contractors on the estate or those who may work there in the future.
  12. Supervise or indirectly manage full-time staff on the estate, such as administrators, yardmen, handymen, and cleaners.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  1. Strong administrative skills, ideally with over 2 years of experience in admin roles.
  2. Keen eye for detail.
  3. Strong IT skills, including Word, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  4. A positive 'can-do' attitude.
  5. Ability to work well within a team and multitask effectively.
  6. Previous experience in the property sector is preferred.
