Be part of a transformative rail infrastructure programme with Octavius, a key delivery partner on Network Rail'sWales & Western Framework. This initiative underControl Period 7 (2024–2029)focuses on renewing and enhancing critical railway assets across Wales and the West of England.

As anAssistant Development Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the planning and delivery of multidisciplinary projects—fromstation enhancementsandcivils renewalstoelectrification and plant upgrades. You'll work closely with Development managers, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped, developed, and delivered efficiently.

  • Assist in the development of project scopes, feasibility studies, and option selection.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, including Network Rail, local authorities, and design consultants.
  • Coordinate early-stage design and planning activities across civils, stations, and electrification projects.
  • Monitor programme timelines, risks, and budgets, escalating issues as needed.
  • Contribute to value engineering and innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
