Assistant Designer

From £30, 000 Depending on experience
Working Pattern: Typically 4 days in office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

We are looking for a trend driven Assistant/junior level designer, looking to push the Design within our Menswear team. This role will focus on Mens polo shirts - casual and formal. How would you push this design? What can you bring to the team? Take the range and run with it!

Portfolios must be added to the application in order to be considered.

The role
You will travel, research and design elevated pieces within your chosen department. Translating trends to elevated, beautiful designs, considering construction and fabrications will be a large part of the role. Supporting the designer on the team, you will have the opportunity to work across this ever growing category. Having the forward thinking approach to trend, fabrics and newness is vital in this role. How can you push things forward?


About you
We would love you to have a degree within Textile or Fashion Design.Experience & knowledge in your chosen area is a must for this role. Having strong presentation and communication skills, you will be capable of working well with other team members and building productive relationships. We would love you to be highly organised, self-motivated, and a team player. A strong interest in trends within the category is a must, alongside of a true interest in Menswear and brands out there at the moment. We would love you to bring energy, passion and knowledge to this position.


The team
The Menswear team work really hard, but have a great rapport. They encourage fun alongside of the hard work. Gelling together as a team, you can accomplish so much more! You would be joining an amazing team whose enthusiasm for trend, design and elevation is the main focus.This role is based in their Design Studio at Head Office, Leicester.
