NEXT Wholly Owned Brands is hiring an Assistant Designer to support the Designer in developing and managing a profitable department across stores and online. You will research and deliver trend-led ranges that fit the brand's customer and pricing structure, translating concepts into commercial products.

Working in a hybrid setup, you will contribute to seasonal trends, colour palettes, and design meetings while collaborating with Buyers and Creative Pattern Cutters to ensure accuracy and

Qualifications

• Excellent free-hand fashion illustration and technical garment drawing skills.
• Ability to research, design, and deliver trend-led styles aligned to customer needs.
• Produce catwalk trend analysis and range plans for multiple selling phases.
• Assist in seasonal trends and colour palettes for brand consistency.
• Actively contribute in weekly Design meetings with inspiration and samples.
• Regular competitor and trend research to inform product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and progresses design concepts into commercial products.
• Researches and delivers trend-led ranges for both stores and online.
• Collaborates with Buyers and Creative Pattern Cutters on details and fabric manipulations.
• Attends fit sessions to ensure artwork and embellishments meet brand standards.
• Flag potential design or technical issues to the Buying team early.
