A leading glazing subcontractor is looking for a Technical Designer to join their team in London. This role offers significant career progression opportunities and the chance to work on exciting bespoke glazing projects using AutoCAD and Revit. Ideal for someone eager to grow their career in a dynamic environment.
Job Description
Ready to kickstart your long-term Technical Design career in AutoCAD & Revit with serious progression potential? Seven years ago, we placed a junior AutoCAD Technician with this high-end glazing subcontractor (with a turnover of £85M). Today, that person is the Group Pre-Construction Design Director. This type of career progression isn't a one-off.
It's part of the culture here. This is a long-term opportunity for someone at the beginning of their Technical Design journey, ideally with a couple of years of AutoCAD experience, who wants to be developed, challenged, and promoted. You'll be joining a company that invests in people, offers serious career progression, and encourages internal promotion. The person you’ll be interviewed by is living proof of that.
Our client is a leader in bespoke glass solutions for CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-outs, and they’re expanding their Pre-Construction Design Team. You’ll support Senior Designers working on projects from RIBA Stage 2 to 5, producing detailed drawings and specifications on CAD & Revit, using in-house and 3rd-party glazing systems.
Following your 6-month probation, you will be given work-from-home options and flexibility in your role.
