A private equity-backed Tier 2 civils contractor is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their Preconstruction team. This company has a strong portfolio of secure frameworks within the Rail and Highways sectors, typically undertaking projects in the sub-£100M range.

As an Assistant Design Manager, you will support the management of the design process across projects in the rail portfolio, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or construction
• Knowledge of construction and civil engineering works; site experience is desirable
• Experience in design management during the preconstruction phase, preferably within the rail sector
• Experience working with NEC3/4 contracts
