Job summary

The Langham, London invites applications for an Interior Design professional to join the design and technical services team. You will support multiple hotel projects from feasibility through to pre-opening, updating design control standards, templates and presentations.

Based in London, you will coordinate with project managers, consultants and contractors, ensure design standards across brands, review drawings, and help develop briefs and concept narratives to achieve on-time openings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (essential).
• Minimum 3 years' interior design experience with FF&E and space planning for luxury hospitality.
• Knowledge of hospitality operations (desirable).
• Experience from inception to completion with on-time delivery and technical standards.
• Knowledge of materials and detailing.
• Creative problem-solving with focus on time, cost and quality.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel for overseas site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders on design and implementation.
• Support technical services to ensure design standards are consistent across brands.
• Assist in feasibility studies, facility audits, drawing review and pre-opening coordination.
• Review hotel design aspects including MUR, FOH guest areas and BOH operations.
• Assist in developing briefs and concept narratives for new projects and in-house design initiatives.
• Work to project timelines and construction schedules to ensure timely hotel openings.
