Job summary

Langham London seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead design coordination for luxury hotel projects. You will liaise with project managers, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure design excellence and timely openings.

The role requires a degree in Interior Design or Architecture and a minimum of 3 years’ interior design experience in FF&E and space planning, preferably in luxury hospitality. Travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3+ years experience in interior design with FF&E and space planning for luxury hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of hospitality operations is desirable.
• Experience from inception to completion with materials and detailing.
• Strong problem-solving, time, cost and quality focus.
• Organised with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office & Bluebeam.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel for overseas site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders on design, operations and implementation of hotel projects.
• Support technical services to ensure design standards across hotel brands.
• Assist in all stages from feasibility studies to pre-opening coordination.
• Review hotel design aspects including MUR, FOH guest areas and BOH operations.
• Help develop briefs and concept narratives for new projects and in-house design initiatives.
• Align with project timelines and construction schedules to support timely openings.
