Job summary

Salter Grange Limited is recruiting an Assistant Design Manager to join a major data centre project in West London. You will work with the Design Manager and project team to coordinate and deliver design information from detailed design through construction and handover.

The role involves coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure information is aligned with the programme and construction requirements, while supporting design meetings and coordination

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering or design environments with understanding of design information development.
• Knowledge of coordinating design deliverables across consultants, contractors and site teams.
• Ability to manage multiple actions, deadlines and priorities on fast-paced projects.
• Experience on large-scale data centre projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager in managing the design process through the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site delivery team.
• Review and track design deliverables to align with the project programme.
• Maintain design trackers, drawing and document registers.
• Assist with design meetings, workshops and coordination sessions.
• Monitor actions from design meetings and ensure follow-through.
• Support CDE management and project procedures documentation.
