A successful privately owned Main Contractor operating in the Education, Healthcare, Residential, Science, and Commercial sectors locally, is recruiting an Assistant Design Manager to join their regional office, working across Pre-Construction and with the on-site delivery team.

The client offers an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager to join the business, working with a talented and experienced Senior Design Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist in the design process and supervise consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. They should have some knowledge of practical construction methodologies and experience managing technical information on projects.

Desirable Experience
  • Minimum 2 years+ experience with design coordination, architectural technology, or similar discipline.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience working for a Main Contractor is advantageous.
  • Previous roles: Junior Design Manager, Design Manager, Assistant Design Coordinator, Design Coordinator, Graduate Design Manager, Architectural Technologist, or Architectural Technician.
Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a comparable qualification such as HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ.
