Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment promoting the N Family Club culture and values
  • Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Model outstanding care and education
  • Support the Deputy Manager to ensure high-quality education in line with N Pedagogy and Curriculum, including self-evaluation, audits, and inspections
  • Plan and manage daily routines, learning experiences, ratios, and rotas
  • Ensure timely completion of risk assessments, health and safety, and EYFS statutory requirements
  • Review and update policies and procedures to drive improvement
  • Promote professional development through feedback, coaching, and learning opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents, including nursery tours
  • Manage Bank and Agency staff, ensuring proper documentation and induction
  • Provide cover in Family Rooms when needed, modeling good practice
  • Assist with personnel procedures, recruitment, and staff management
  • Support invoicing and funding queries and system setup
  • Lead safeguarding procedures and child welfare as Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the day
  • Encourage a positive, diverse working environment
  • Lead educational excellence with high standards and feedback
  • Adhere to H&S policies and support nursery operations with ad-hoc tasks
