A leading educational institution in Edinburgh seeks an Assistant Data Manager to support the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit with clinical research projects. The role requires experience in clinical trials or research coordination, knowledge of database management, and strong attention to detail. Grade UE06 £34,610 - £39,906 per annum

Full time: 35 hours per week
Fixed Term: available from 01 November 2025 to 31 October 2027
Location: Usher Institute, Edinburgh Bioquarter
We will also consider requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular (weekly) on-campus working. The Usher Institute expects a minimum of 40% on campus working.
The Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an Assistant Data Manager to support its function as a UKCRC registered clinical trials unit by providing their expertise to deliver successful clinical research projects within the Data Management team.
Under the guidance of the Data Manager, you will work alongside ECTU Trial Managers and the Data Management team to ensure the smooth and effective development and delivery of data management plans and data management activities for the ECTU clinical trial portfolio.
