Job description

We're recruiting on behalf of a fashion forward brand who are looking for a Customs Specialist to support their UK Customs Operations Manager and ensure smooth, compliant import processes.

This is a fixed term contract to run until December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support customs operations by advising on classifications, valuations, duty reliefs, and trade preferences (e.g. DCTS).

* Review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, etc.) daily for accuracy.

* Monitor and respond to emails and queries in shared mailboxes.

* Work with vendors to ensure correct information for customs entries.

* Help plan for duties by confirming tariff codes, duty rates, and documents before orders are placed.

* Coordinate with customs brokers to meet clearance targets and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of customs clearance procedures and import documentation. Familiarity with Ricardo Duty Management System or similar customs software would be beneficial.

As this is a fixed term contract until December, only those who are available immediately or on a short notice period will be considered.
