Assistant Critical Facilities Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year

Location: Feltham

Are you an experienced data center professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to lead operations, drive efficiency, and ensure the highest standards of reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

In this key leadership position, you will oversee mission-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted power, cooling, and operational efficiency. You'll work alongside a highly skilled team to maintain and optimize Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems while driving safety, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the operational team, ensuring service excellence.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities.
  • Ensure all MEP infrastructure is maintained to the highest industry standards.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements.
  • Manage change, incident response, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and uphold health and safety policies.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance team expertise.
  • Promote awareness of IT operations within MEP disciplines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data center operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of MEP systems, data center operations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
