Our clinical department develops and delivers clinical programs. Our global Clinical Operations team within PPD provides end-to-end support for clinical trials, from start-up to close-out, across various contracts. We help clients define, develop, and execute clinical studies efficiently and with high quality.

PPD Clinical Research Services are hiring ACRAs to join our UK team in multiple locations.

The ACRA Role

Performs remote activities on assigned projects in coordination with Remote CRA, On-Site CRA, and study CTM. Supports site preparedness, logistics, and site management tasks during various study phases, in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

A Typical Day

• Completes study and site management activities as assigned.
• Undertakes study-specific training and system orientations.
• Supports pre-study assessments and site-specific document review.
• Assists with site communication, system access, and training follow-ups.
• Coordinates logistics, supply management, and documentation updates.
• Supports vendor qualification, site payments, and reconciliation tasks.
• Ensures timely collection and review of study documents and data.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic medical knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
• Ability to learn ICH GCP and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to adapt to new software tools.
• Excellent English language skills.
