Salary £32,001 - £35,557 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Home based in Midlands (with travel to Worcester/Solihull offices as required)

The Vacancy

Join our Service Charges Project team!

We are seeking an experienced Property/Service Charge Accountant to join our project team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave until December 2025.

This is a great opportunity to support our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of investing in people and places for a sustainable future.

Having recently implemented a new finance system, this role is vital in providing accurate financial statements regarding service charges.

You will analyze ledger transactions and contract data to produce detailed financial reports aligned with our service charge policies and structures.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience with service charges or accounting in large, complex organizations with substantial budgets
  • Ability to interpret data, conduct research, analyze complex information, and manage risks
  • Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines with data provision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong ICT skills (Word, Excel, Cloud technologies)
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Qualified to AAT Level 2 or equivalent, or relevant experience in Service Charges

Travel Requirements: While primarily home-based, you should be able to travel to our offices for meetings, which are held weekly at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester.
