You will be joining a collaborative, fast‑paced team where accuracy, curiosity and clear communication are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and building a strong foundation in music publishing within a company known for transparency, innovation and putting creators first.

What You’ll Do

Global Copyright Delivery – Ensure copyright claims for Kobalt’s catalogue are accurately delivered to collection societies worldwide, supporting the protection and monetisation of our clients’ works.

Registrations & Data Management – Prepare and submit work and agreement registrations to global collection societies (including PRS, ASCAP, BMI) and to sub‑publishers who administer Kobalt’s repertoire in specific territories.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams across Copyright, Royalties, Client Relations and Tech to gather information, resolve data issues and ensure registrations are complete and accurate.

Issue Resolution – Investigate and resolve registration errors or data discrepancies, taking a proactive and methodical approach to problem solving.

Process Support & Improvement – Contribute to the ongoing development of team processes by flagging inefficiencies, suggesting improvements and supporting documentation where required.

What You’ll Bring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of English proficiency
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment
  • A detail‑oriented and analytical mindset, with confidence working with data and large datasets
  • Comfort using Excel, including data manipulation and basic analysis
  • A proactive, self‑starting approach with a genuine curiosity about how things work
  • A clear interest in music publishing and copyright, with a desire to build expertise in this area
What Success Looks Like

In 1 month – You will understand Kobalt’s copyright delivery processes, tools and data flows, and be confidently supporting registrations under the guidance of the team.

In 3 months – You will be independently handling day‑to‑day registrations, resolving straightforward issues and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.

In 6 months – You will be a trusted member of the Global Deliveries team, consistently delivering accurate work, contributing ideas for process improvements and handling more complex queries with confidence.

Key Behaviours for Success

Attention to Detail – Taking pride in accuracy and consistency, and understanding the downstream impact of copyright data on royalties and client earnings.

Curiosity & Learning Mindset – Asking thoughtful questions, seeking to understand the wider publishing ecosystem and continuously building your knowledge of copyright.

Collaboration & Communication – Working openly and constructively with teammates and internal partners, sharing information clearly and professionally.
