Cardiff Education Catering operates a service to circa 120 Secondary, Primary, and Special schools in Cardiff through 500 staff producing around 4 million meals per annum, providing breakfast, lunch, and therapeutic diets for pupils, vending services, and occasion catering for business meetings.
The Assistant Cook will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager with all aspects of the business and service activities in the catering facility.
This role is part-time at 30 hours per week (6 hours per day), 39 weeks per year. The advertised salary is based on a full-time role (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The actual salary will be proportionally lower due to the part-time hours and weeks worked.
