Peterborough City Council seeks an energetic part-time cook/kitchen team member for a commercial kitchen at Clare Lodge Secure Children's Home. You'll be responsible for cooking, following menus for a healthy diet for young residents, and day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should possess relevant qualifications and cooking experience, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to safety and hygiene.
We are looking to recruit an energetic, enthusiastic part-time cook/kitchen team member to work in our commercial kitchen at Clare Lodge Secure Children's Home. The position requires following pre-planned menus for lunch and dinner, serving a minimum of 25+ covers per sitting for residents and their care workers. The menu is developed in accordance with the Homes Policy, consulting with residents to ensure a healthy, varied diet for young people aged between 12 and 17 years.
Duties include cooking at least once a week and assisting with day-to-day kitchen operations on non-cook days.
