HENRY CHADWICK PRIMARY SCHOOL - ASSISTANT COOK

Location: Henry Chadwick Primary School, Hill Ridware, Staffordshire

Salary: Grade 2, £24,027 per annum

Pro Rota salary £10,989 per annum

Hours of work: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 1.30 pm

Contract: Permanent, Term time, 38 working weeks plus 1 additional day when pupils are not in school (Paid weeks 44.12)

Responsible to: Catering Supervisor

Start Date: 1st September 2025

The successful candidate will be part of a small team working in our kitchen preparing break time snacks and assisting with the preparation of meals for our pupils. Supporting the Catering Supervisor with setting up for meal service, serving meals, and clearing away at the end of service. There may be a requirement to support lunchtime supervisors, while the children are having their lunchtime meal, assisting children with their table manners and ensuring that any spillages are cleaned up promptly.
