Join Blackpool's leading provider of School Meals as an Assistant Cook. Salary: NJC Grade B SCP 3-4, £22,737 - £23,114 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours and term-time only (£10,300 - £10,471 Pro-rata)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Blackpool’s leading provider of School Meals. The team is passionate about food, nutrition, and providing high-quality catering services to our local community. We employ over 150 dedicated local staff, and we are looking to recruit a Primary/Secondary School Unit Catering Manager at (School Name).
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Cook with a proven track record. You will support, motivate, and lead a great team at Anchorsholme Park Cafe, working 20 hours per week, which operates 7 days a week (including some weekends on rota), while maintaining high-quality and efficient service to the highest food safety standards.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as we pride ourselves on forming partnerships with our schools and stakeholders. You will be required to build sound, customer-focused relationships with Head Teachers, Business Managers, School Staff, and Trust Staff. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and work in a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated team environment.
