We're Hiring: Assistant Cook Bedwellty House & Park

Location: Bedwellty House and Park

Grade 3 | £24,404 FTE / £12.65 per hour

Fixed-Term Contract 3 Months | Immediate Start Available

What You'll Be Doing

1. Preparing fresh, made-to-order meals using seasonal ingredients often straight from our Kitchen Garden
2. Cooking for weddings, Sunday lunches, BBQs, and special events
3. Crafting beautiful cakes, pastries, and savoury treats for our daily tearoom service
4. Ensuring high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer satisfaction
5. Collaborating with a passionate team to support events and develop new menus

What We’re Looking For

1. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
2. Experience working in a busy catering environment
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. A team player who can also take the initiative
5. Willingness to work some evenings and weekends

Desirable: Level 3 Food Hygiene and some knowledge of Welsh (but not essential)
