Role Specifics

The role involves providing consultancy services related to the management and settlement of insurance claims to insured clients. Responsibilities in our Claims team include:

  • Advising clients on the collection, formulation, and presentation of insurance claims.
  • Data analysis regarding costs and expenses incurred.
  • Auditing and formulating claim quantum, including producing supported accounting data.
  • Producing statements regarding insurance claim quantum.
  • Supporting clients in data production within deadlines.
  • Tracking and recording claim progress against strategies and timelines.
  • Presenting claim documentation to loss adjusters/lawyers representing insurers.
  • Supporting claim strategy and processing to achieve settlement.
  • Managing technical subject matter experts.
  • Providing advice on root cause analysis, policy coverage, and interpretation.
  • Supporting external lawyers' retention and utilization.
  • Assisting with other activities as required by the Directors.
Employee Responsibilities
  • Communicating with risk managers, insurance managers, project managers, brokers, loss adjusters, lawyers, underwriters, and technical consultants.
  • Attending meetings with clients, loss adjusters, brokers, and lawyers.
  • Presenting data and participating in claim audits.
  • Developing new business opportunities globally.
  • Representing the company at external events.
  • Conducting legal research and producing proposals.
  • Supporting claims drafting and providing ad hoc assistance.
  • Working towards professional qualifications (ACII) within 3 years.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent education.
  • Numerate with strong Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Insurance knowledge is preferable but not essential.
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
