ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY - 5 YEARS COMPANY SECRETARIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Our client, a leading industrial services group, seeks a Company Secretarial professional. Duties will include:

  1. Board & Committee Support: Own the schedule of meetings of all boards of directors, committees, and ad-hoc committees. Ensure all members and attendees are informed of dates and times. Attend and minute meetings. Prepare agendas, collate and distribute meeting packs, schedule meetings, arrange logistics, and provide general support.
  2. Compliance: Maintain UK statutory company records using physical and electronic filing systems. Make filings to Companies House, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Company Secretarial Support: Maintain department spreadsheets, company registers, archives, and records. Update and manage Group corporate structures. Assist with liquidations and dissolutions of inactive subsidiaries. Support the Group’s businesses with requests like KYC and due diligence.
  4. Document Management: Format, proofread, and prepare documents and presentations. File forms related to corporate changes and draft skeleton minutes for meetings.
  5. Governance Projects: Support governance initiatives, organize board reviews, and coordinate meetings, minutes, and action points.

You should have at least five years of company secretarial and board experience, preferably within a group of companies. Proficiency in all Microsoft programs, including Visio, is required. The role offers 50% WFH, with the office near the A1/M18 junction or accessible via bus from Doncaster station.
