The Role
In this position you will be supporting the Deputy Company Secretary and team in providing proactive and effective Company Secretarial support to the Bank’s group and subsidiary boards and their committees.
This will include supporting the Board and Sub-committees with meeting cycle and associated processes for board, committee, and executive meetings across the Bank including its subsidiary companies – including compiling agendas, writing minutes, following up on actions, and publication of meeting documentation on the Bank’s governance portal.
You will also be supporting with entity management, statutory compliance, corporate governance, and assisting on the production of the Annual Report and Accounts.
Experience
You will also be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the administrative support required within a Company Secretarial team, and you must have experience of interacting with senior executives. You will also have an understanding of the role and requirements of the Companies Act and of best practice in Corporate Governance. It would be beneficial if you have experience of working in financial services such as banking, insurance or accountancy.
