The Assistant Commissioning Engineer will support the technical testing and validation of critical substation equipment to ensure safe and efficient power delivery. You will work alongside experienced commissioning teams to execute daily site activities, maintain project schedules, and help bridge the gap between design specifications and operational reality.

• Ensuring the timely delivery of commissioning tasks by managing your daily responsibilities in line with project goals and budgets.

Special Role Requirements

• Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external customers to achieve shared project goals.
• The capability to perform testing and commissioning activities within high‑voltage environments using industry‑standard tools.
• An understanding of power system equipment and how to validate their functionality against design specifications.
• An expertise in working safely in construction environments, including the ability to work at height when required.
• A keen interest in mastering modern grid software and expanding your technical knowledge of power systems.
