Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager within the Buildings & Places unit to support the ambitious UK growth strategy. You will review, draft and negotiate a range of agreements including prime and subcontracts, NDAs and MOUs, and you will help govern bids within the approvals framework.

The role is hybrid—three days in the office across UK locations with remote work available—working with bid teams, suppliers and clients to identify commercial risk, resolve contract issues and

Qualifications

• A degree in law, business studies, engineering, science or technology.
• Experience in sales and procurement commercial management.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and draft contractual wording with attention to detail.
• Experience negotiating contract terms with suppliers and/or clients.
• Willingness to develop and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Analyse and agree NDAs, MOUs, subcontracts.
• Review and approve proposals, prime and subcontracts, ensuring governance adherence.
• Provide commercial support to bid teams, including development of commercial elements of tender.
• Identify, mitigate and manage commercial risk across frameworks.
• Provide commercial support throughout contract delivery.
• Input to approvals processes and attend bid and governance meetings; train non-commercial staff.
