The role
As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This offers an exciting opportunity support a new customer and a growing portfolio of contracts within our Civil Decommissioning business stream, with involvement from the outset working closely with customer and subcontractors to deliver tangible project delivery as the projects expands.


Day-to-day, you’ll be a key part of the project delivery team providing post-contract support to key growth projects with a new customer with additional support to pre-contract activities to grow the next phases of the wider programme.

  • Ensure compliant administration of subcontracts, responsible for driving effective contract change, communications, KPI management and commercial / financial reporting.
  • Leading review of application for payment / invoicing / payment processes from subcontractors.
  • Provision of commercial and contractual support and advice across the project, working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Managers.
  • Support project regulatory compliance, including for example trade controls.
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager with customer contract administration as required


This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home and is based at our Warrington hub.

Essential experience of the Assistant Commercial Manager

  • Experience of administering different contract models, e.g. customer bespoke & NEC3/4
  • Experience of administering subcontracts
  • Experience of working within highly regulated industries

Qualifications for the Assistant Commercial Manager

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Law, Quantity Surveying is advantageous but not essential
  • Professional memberships of WCC (World Commerce and Contracting) / IACCM is desirable
