British Museum is seeking an Assistant Collection Manager for Storage and Moves (Large Objects) in Bloomsbury, London. This fixed-term role supports the Western Range decant project, focusing on the movement, packing, transport and storage of large 3D objects, within a hands-on project team.

You will plan complex moves, maintain documentation, and ensure safe handling and accurate records under tight deadlines.

Competenze

• Practical object handling experience in a museum, gallery, heritage site or collection‑focussed organisation.
• Comfortable in a physically active environment and able to solve technical problems.

• Prepare, pack, move and rehouse large and complex museum objects.
