Sushi Gourmet is recruiting Full Time Assistant Chef Manager to join our Sushi Gourmet outlet located in Shrewsbury Sainsbury's.

- A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards, and comply with company policies
- Reliable transportation for early morning shifts
And are able to:
- Be accountable for the team in the Chef Manager's absence, maintaining audit standards for food safety and health & safety compliance, meeting EHO expectations
- Ensure the team maintains high standards of cleanliness and food safety to create a safe environment for customers, clients, and staff
- Be highly organized, with a focus on forward planning
- Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
- Accurately label products to ensure lawful compliance around food safety and allergens each shift
- Be a skilled multitasker
- Be an early riser, as shifts can start at 6 am on some days
- Learn new skills or improve existing ones

Qualifications
Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens, and COSHH are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Great organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on quality are essential.
