Head of Hospitality - Grappenhall Manor Care Centre

Location: Warrington, Cheshire

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00 per hour, 40 hours/week, with shift times from 8:00 to 19:00, including alternate weekends

Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality team. You will be responsible for organizing the hospitality and care assistants to ensure a smooth dining experience for residents. Your duties include overseeing dining room setup, cleanliness, meal service, and team supervision, including rotas and training.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-standard hospitality services.
  2. Support and assist visitors.
  3. Communicate any special dietary requirements to the Chef.
  4. Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
  5. Ensure all training is adhered to and records are properly maintained.
  6. Manage and supervise the hospitality team, ensuring quality service.
  7. Coach staff and support ongoing development.
  8. Promote safeguarding and welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
  • Previous care setting experience is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills are required.
  • Participation in home-organized activities is essential.
