Job summary

Lovett Care Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Chef for Guiseley Manor Care Home in Guiseley, Leeds. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meals for residents, in line with dietary needs and preferences, within a 40-hour week and 14.25 per hour.

The successful candidate will work with the Head Chef to ensure nutritionally balanced menus, maintain HACCP standards, and lead the kitchen team during the Head Chef's absence, while supporting the overall wellbeing and enjoyment of

Qualifications

• Experience with busy meal periods including breakfast and dinner service.
• Experience in a care home or similar setting.
• Knowledge of specialised diets and service delivery.
• Ability to contribute and develop a four‑week menu.
• Ability to complete records showing legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Present and display menus so residents can understand them and choose daily.
• Ensure meals meet diets, portions, and personal needs and preferences.
• Provide nutritionally balanced meals served timely and in the correct sequence.
• Follow HACCP, maintain hygiene, infection control and records.
• Supervise kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence to ensure quality service.
