Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, helping prepare healthy meals and snacks for children on a daily basis.

You will support the chef, cater for allergies and special dietary needs, and ensure the kitchen remains clean and hygienic according to standards. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable and experience in a similar environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a nursery or similar environment is required.
• Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs is essential.
• Willingness to get stuck in and support children’s needs with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the chef in preparing healthy meals and snacks for children.
• Cater for allergies and dietary needs to ensure safety for all children.
• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, following hygiene and safety standards.
