Job description

Assistant Chef

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: A£25,584 - A£26,409 pro rata, per annum

Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services.

They have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chefs and chefs working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings.

The service is committed to delivering a high standard of service to their customers and in doing so investing in the staff and staff development.

The Role

They are currently looking for reliable and friendly people with a positive attitude to join their team as a Chef. It is essential you hold a minimum NVQ level 2 in Food Processing and Cooking or equivalent. You must also have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a busy catering environment.
