Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team in Crewe. You will prepare nutritious meals for young children and support the Chef with daily kitchen operations in a busy nursery environment.

The role requires a collaborative approach, an eye for food safety, and a passion for early years catering. Training and development are available, with opportunities to grow within the Busy Bees group.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering for children preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements for early years is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals meeting dietary requirements for children.
• Support the Chef in kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering and stock control.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
