Dean Wood Care Home in Brighton is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team. You will cook with fresh ingredients, create varied menus in line with dietary needs, and help residents feel at home.
The role is permanent, 38 hours per week, 3 x 7am-5pm with alternate weekends. You will train and lead kitchen staff, follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines, and contribute to delivering high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

We are looking for an equally passionate Assistant Chef to join the team and help create and deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.
A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates. You want to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal and make our residents feel at home. Open to new ideas, you’ll have an innovative approach to cooking whilst always adhering to high standards. You’ll enjoy communicating with others and you’ll cherish the little moments with our residents, sharing your love of food with them.
