Job summary

The University of Chester Chaplaincy team is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Chaplain to join us in creating an inclusive community for students. Based at Exton Park, the role involves delivering creative activities, events and pastoral support, with travel across sites as needed.

It is a part-time, term-time post (17 hours/week over 30 weeks) with hours to be agreed on appointment. We are looking for someone with extensive pastoral experience and a deep understanding of faith communities,

• Pastoral care experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative activities and events to enhance student experience
• Provide pastoral support and signpost to appropriate services
• Coordinate student volunteers and assist chaplains in planning
• Maintain resources and help run the Chaplaincy presence across sites
