North Ayrshire Council is seeking an Assistant Catering Supervisor to manage the school kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, be a team player, and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
We may conduct interviews in person or via Microsoft Teams for video calls. You only need a device with a camera and internet access. Guidance will be provided if your interview is virtual.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Catering Supervisor to manage the school kitchen alongside the Catering Supervisor. The ideal candidate is a team player, hardworking, organized, creative, and passionate about customer service. Previous management experience is required, as you will oversee staff both onsite and in spoke units. Ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills are essential.
Flexibility in start and finish times to meet service needs is desirable. This is a 52-week position. The start date is subject to PVG and Occupational Health Checks. Applicants must have management experience or similar.

PVG (Children)
This role involves regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. It is an offence to apply if barred from working with children.

Successful candidates' details will be entered into the PVG system to generate their PVG form, which will be emailed for completion.
