Assistant Caretaker / Minibus Driver

Location: Attleborough, Norfolk

Salary: SCP 5:6 A GBP 21,869 : A GBP 22,612 (Pro Rata)

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks

The Academy is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students. The Academy joined an Education Trust in June 2020 which was an exciting and important development for the school. The Trust are committed to bringing like:minded schools together to work in partnership to develop a world class education.

They are currently seeking to recruit for an Assistant Caretaker/Minibus Driver to deliver a high:quality customer service to all teaching and related support operations on the Academy site. Working both as an individual and as part of a team, you will carry out a range of tasks to facilitate an ideal teaching and learning environment for the staff and students.

The Role

In the role of Minibus Driver, you will provide safe and reliable transport on their home to school minibus runs as required.

Skills And Qualifications

• Hold a full pre:1997 driving license with B/BE/C1/C1E/D1/D1E driving entitlements or if post:1997, have successfully passed additional tests to cover entitlements B/BE/C1/C1E/D1/D1E.
• Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and successfully pass the minibus driving assessments prior to employment.
• Be enthusiastic and possess a calm, organised and approachable character which is seen as an essential part of the role.
• Have a clear commitment to working with young people and be able to set clear guidelines for them.
