Beacon is a primary school and nursery for children aged 3 to 11 years old with an Area Resource Base for pupils from 4 years old. Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Caretaker to start as soon as possible. The role will be mainly based at Beacon Academy in Bodmin but may be required to assist in other schools from time to time. This is a 22.5 hour per week, permanent contract, term time plus 5 inset days.

Duties will include general caretaker duties, locking and unlocking duties, general light maintenance, gardening and cover for the caretaker as required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of general building maintenance and awareness of Health and Safety regulations, as well as enthusiasm and pro-active attitude to their work.
