Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Assistant Care Manager / Client Manager with a strong leadership background and a passion for high quality care to join our care team based in North Wales. Due to an internal promotion, we have the following position available.

As a Client Care Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care. This will include being part of a senior management team responsible for the efficient running of the business, quality control, managing the needs of the clients, and day-to-day management of internal staff and our Employees.

Responsibilities
  1. Working closely with the Senior Management team to maintain the growth and development of a high quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area.
  2. Networking in the local community to raise awareness of the service.
  3. Promoting the highest standards of care and service.
  4. Overseeing recruiting and training channels.
  5. Converting new client enquiries and supporting the coordination of staffing rotas.
  6. Care planning and conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Managing a team, ensuring that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly.
  8. Ensuring successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients.
  9. Continually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being delivered.
  10. Effectively managing complaints and incidents, carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service and using those findings to initiate improvements.
  11. Promoting a positive culture in line with company ethos and values.
Qualifications
  1. Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and people management skills.
  2. Commercial awareness.
  3. Strong influencing skills.
  4. Demonstrated achievement of business growth targets.
  5. Ability to build good working relationships.
  6. Strong organisation and planning skills.
  7. Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop our care services.
  8. Ability to work well and accurately under pressure whilst working independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Flexibility to meet the demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota.
  10. Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5.
  11. Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The company is registered with Care Inspectorate Wales; it is not essential that the successful candidate would hold the registration for the business.
